The University of Lagos has announced that classes will commence virtually for all undergraduate students as the first semester of the 2024/2025 session begins this month.
The institution had previously disclosed that the academic session will begin on Monday, October 28, 2024.
In a news bulletin by its communication unit on Friday, October 25, the university explained that the ongoing renovation of the student hostels necessitated the decision to hold classes virtually.
According to the bulletin, lectures will commence using the university’s virtual learning platform. Each department will prepare timetables for online classes.
The university management urged students to ensure they have stable internet connections and suitable devices for seamless virtual classes.
Students are also encouraged to regularly check their email for updates and additional information.
