Unilag to host IMGA-Nigeria Conference.

The 6th conference of the International Medical Geologists Association (IMGA-Nigeria Conference) will be held at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) from Tuesday, August 22nd to Thursday, August 24th, 2023.

The conference is hosted by the Department of Geosciences, Faculty of Science of the University and is themed “Discerning the Unknown: Establishing the Link between Health and the Environment”.

The venue for the event is Arthur Mbanefo Digital Research Center, UNILAG and the time is 10 am daily.

IMGA is an affiliate body of the Nigeria Mining and Geosciences Society (NMGS). They are a body of professional Environmental, Geographical, Medical and Public Health practitioners.

They also conduct research into the effects of human interaction with the environment and proffer solutions as well as preventive measures where necessary.
