UNILAG Freshmen to Matriculate April 11

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has announced that the matriculation of its freshmen students will be held on Friday, 11th of April, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at the Jelili Adebisi Omotola Hall, UNILAG, Akoka.

This was made known in a press release from the institution’s Communication Unit which detailed the schedule for the orientation programme and the matriculation ceremony for fresh students (UTME and Direct Entry) for the 2024/2025 academic session.

According to the University Management, the event will kickstart with the with an Interactive Session and Orientation Fair on April 9th, at Jelili Adebisi Omotola Hall.

A Novelty match will take place at 8:00 a.m. on April 10th, at the University Sports Center, followed by Entertainment, including the Mr. & Miss JAMBITE contest, at 2p.m. at the J.F. Ade Ajayi Auditorium .

On Friday, April 11th, fresh students will engage in an interactive session with dignitaries at 9a.m. at the Jelili Adebisi Omotola Hall, followed by a Special Jumat Service for Muslim Freshers at 1p.m. at the UNILAG Mosque, and then the matriculation celebration by 3PM on same day.

As part of the program, a special Thanksgiving Service for Christian Freshers will be held on Sunday, April 13th, at 9a.m. at the UNILAG Chapel (Chapel of Christ Our Light, UNILAG).

All matriculating students are expected to be seated in the hall by 2:40 p.m, on the day of the ceremony.
