The Registry of the University of Lagos has witnessed a change in leadership as Mrs Olakunle Esther Makinde is appointed Acting Registrar of the University.
This is following the end of the 5 years long tenure of the former registrar Ismaila Oladejo Azeez, Esq.
Mr Azeez whose tenure ended on Monday 31st July, 2023, was appointed in June 2018 as Registrar and Secretary to the Governing council of the University of Lagos and has since served the University laudably.
The Acting Registrar, Mrs Makinde is a seasoned administrator well versed in various aspects of the registry and also the former Ag. Director of Academic Affairs.
Her appointment is to commence with immediate effect.
The Vice-chancellor, Prof. Folasade Ogunsola, on behalf of the Management, Staff and Students congratulates the Acting Registrar on her appointment and wishes her a successful tenure in office.
The VC also congratulates the outgoing Mr Azeez and wishes him success in his future endeavours.
