Exercises to mark the first bursary day celebration of the University of Lagos will commence on Wednesday, October 25 and end the following day.
“The bursary in a future ready university” will be the theme of the event. The introductory bursary day will compose of a public lecture to be conveyed by a preceding UNILAG bursary, Dr Gilbert Deinde Ifarajimi, FCA , who was under the chairmanship of Ex- deputy vice chancellor (management services), Professor Duro Oni.
More details are as follows:
On the first day, Wednesday, October 25,2023, indoor games like ludo, Ayo, Olopon and the likes will be held from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at UNILAG sports centre. A friendly football match involving the senior staff club football team will also be held from 4:00pm till 5:00pm at the same venue to close the day.
An awareness walk will be held at 8:00am till 10:00am to kickstart the second day. This will be
held inside the UNILAG campus after which a public lecture /award event will be held by 1:00pm
till 4:00pm at Professor Rahmon Adisa Bello hall.
Campus community members are amiably invited.
