Students invited to join UNI:NNOVATORS programme

The University of Lagos (UNILAG), Nigeria, along with five other universities, has invited undergraduate and postgraduate students to partake in the first edition of the UNI:NNOVATORS Startups-in-Residence Program.

This program, proudly sponsored by iHub Nairobi, GIZ, Make-IT in Africa, and Co-creation Hub (CcHUB), offers a dynamic platform for students to showcase the substantial influence of higher education institutions within the broader African innovation ecosystem.

However, the focus areas encompass Agriculture, Energy, Circular Economy, Healthcare, and Water.

Open to 30 student-led innovations in Nigeria, Namibia, and Kenya, two universities from each country have been selected to participate in this exciting initiative:

Nigeria:

University of Lagos (UNILAG)

University of Ibadan (UI)

Namibia:

University of Namibia (UNAM)

Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST)

Kenya:

University of Nairobi (UoN)

Riara University (RU)
