MBBS, Computer Science, Law, Mass Comm Top as UNILAG Releases 2026/2027 Admission Cut-Off Marks

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has released the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) cut-off marks for admission into its undergraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session, with Medicine and Surgery recording the highest merit cut-off mark at 83.425.

The cut-off marks, covering both merit and catchment categories, were released on Wednesday, September 16, 2026.

A document obtained by UNILAG Sun from the University’s Communications Unit showed that Computer Science followed with a merit cut-off mark of 82.05, while Law recorded 79.125 and Mass Communication 74.6.

Across other faculties, Economics recorded the highest cut-off mark in the Faculty of Social Sciences at 73.625, while Accounting led the Faculty of Management Sciences with 73.

Architecture recorded a cut-off mark of 72.9 in the Faculty of Environmental Sciences.

The released list also includes newly accredited programmes, including Broadcasting and Public Relations under the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies, with cut-off marks of 63.1 and 61.225 respectively.

Similarly, Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence under the Faculty of Computing and Informatics recorded cut-off marks of 66.075 and 53.2 respectively.

The cut-off marks provide prospective students with the admission benchmarks for various undergraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.
