The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has pegged its hostel fees at ₦80,000.
This was announced in a press statement issued on Wednesday, October 29, by faculty presidents-elect at the end of an engagement meeting with the university management.
The ₦80,000 fee applies to the general hostel bed spaces, while students in Sodeinde Hall and Moremi Hall Extension will pay ₦250,000 and ₦500,000, respectively.
“These fees are subject to further review, with the possible addition of a caution fee,” the presidents said in the statement.
According to the presidents, the Dean of Student Affairs (DSA) will provide further information concerning hostel balloting before the week runs out.
