UMCAA organises free 3-day workshop

The University of Lagos Mass Communication Alumni Association in collaboration with the Mass Communication Student Association ( MCSA) will be organising a 3-day free workshop for students of the department.

The workshop is scheduled to be held from Tuesday, 16th of April, 2024 to Thursday, 18th of April 2024 by 10 am daily.

The workshop explores courses like academic writing, book publishing, book editing, business consulting, Textile entrepreneurship, Marketing Communication, Branding, and Film & Content Production amongst others.

The students of the department will be taught and mentored by the industry’s finest ranging from Dr. Ifedolapo Odumosu, Bolatito Puddicombe (CEO of Bolakoka Textile Company), Idu Raphael (CEO/COO POKE Ltd.) Regina Chris Ogbodo and Rotimi Oyesiji (GM Marketing NASCO Group).

There will be a lecture series, mentoring session, food for attendants and 6 different awards to be won by students of the department.

It is important to note that only the first 300 students will have provision for food.
