The 11th All African University Games (FASU) also known as “Lagos 2024,” will take place from Friday, September 20 to Sunday, September 29, 2024. The games will be hosted across two venues – the campuses University of Lagos (UNILAG) and Lagos State University (LASU).
The opening ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at the UNILAG Sports Centre. The closing ceremony will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at the LASU Sports Complex.
Dignitaries expected at the events include Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, FASU President, Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Nigeria’s Minister of Education, Prof. Tahir Mamman, and the Minister of Sports Development, John Owan Enoh.
This major event will bring together university athletes from across Africa to compete and showcase their talents.
